If you arrive in Cuba by a flight departing from the USA 🇺🇸 (even in the event of a stopover in the USA) the pink tourist card (much more expensive) must be obtained directly from the airline of the USA-Cuba flight. Other tourist cards do not work.

Your tourist card is eligible at all points of entry. In addition, the tourist card will be requested from you upon boarding by the airline; without this document it will be impossible to enter Cuba. We advise you to apply for your tourist card at least 5 days before your departure to Cuba.
